Varicose Veins are large veins, larger than 3 mm, that are found on the leg. In some unusual situations, they can be found on the abdomen or arm. These large rope-like twisted veins can bulge out of the skin, giving an unsightly appearance to the leg. Depending on your preferences and insurance coverage, there are multiple different methods to treat varicose veins, including sclerotherapy, phlebectomy, radiofrequency and other technologies.
